Susan Seal
Years ago my mother told me that when I was a little girl I didn’t like having my
hands dirty – I was always wanting her to wash them off. The irony, of course, is that
today I love gardening and working  in clay most of all. I am intrigued with nature
and the natural elements of the earth.

I've always been drawn to pottery and was originally interested in using the wheel
and slab roller to create functional or artsy pieces. In time I found I liked working
small, and jewelry was a perfect fit. It gives me the opportunity to work in ceramic
clay, as well as metal clays, and then add gemstones, vintage beads, and unique
finds to create something fun.
