Rae Marie Crisel grew
up in Kansas, and
moved to Indiana as a
scientist for Eli Lilly and
Co. She retired from
Eli Lilly in 2000, and is
now pursuing her
dream as a painter and
ceramicist.
She and her family
operate a 300 acre
farm north of Zionsville.
Rae Marie feels a
close connection to
nature from her farming
experience and her
kansas heritage.
These have become an
inspiration for much of
her art.
