A few years ago, a
whole new world
opened for me by
simply reading a
magazine article. The
story was about a
talented young bead
artist from New
Mexico. My whole life
has been full of arts
and crafts, from
sewing, painting, cake
decorating, flower
gardening, and now to
bead making and
jewelry design. It
started as something
fun to do in my spare
time, BUT turned into a
fulltime business. It has
been wonderful. My
husband retired from
farming last year, so
he is my number one
assistant. We have
met so many nice
people from all over
the United States who
have become our
customers. Most of my
sales have been
generated by word of
mouth. It is such a
reward when a
customer tells me
about all the
compliments she
received when she
wore one of my
designs.
