Heidi Harner

Born in Oklahoma, the
youngest child in an Air
Force family, artist
Heidi Harner has lived in
many places throughout
her life.

In the badlands of North
Dakota, Heidi was
drawn to horses. During
her younger years in
Colorado, Heidi's
family, with dogs in tow,
oftenspent weekends
camping in the Rockies.

Her paintings naturally
echo those memories
as she primarily chooses
horses, dogs and sunlit
nature scenes as her
subjects. Heidi is
published in GaWaNi
Pony Boy's book, "Of
Women and Horses:
More Reflections of the
Magical Bond,"
published by Bowtie
Press, 2005, and
in Mary Engelbreit's
Home Companion
Magazine Christmas
2003 edition.

Heidi is an associate
member of  WAOW
(Women Artists of the
West).  She continues
to display her work in
regional juried shows
and member exhibits.
Her work can be found
in private and
corporate collections
throughout the United
States. Some of her
collectors include Mrs.
Judy O'Bannon, former
First Lady of Indiana,
and GaWaNi PonyBoy.

Heidi resides in Indiana
and works from her
home studio. She and
her husband, Brad,
share their home with
his daughter and two
amusing,lovable dogs.
