Gail Overpeck
Art has always played a
major role in Gail’s life.
During school she was
often in trouble for
drawing on assignments
and in notebooks.
Naturally, art is now the
focus of her adult life.
She graduated from
Butler University in 1965
taught art in Indianapolis
Public Schools for 33
years, creating her art
when time allowed. She’
s attended numerous
workshops abroad,
improving her skills and
exhibiting or selling
works in England,
France, Italy, Austria
and others. While
young, she painted in oil
and acrylic but her focus
is now watercolors.
Favorite subject areas
are flowers and
landscapes and even
abstract art on occasion.
Gail belongs to the
Indiana Artists Club,
The Watercolor Society
of Indiana and The
Hoosier Salon and has
exhibited in shows
including the WSI
Annual Show, the
Hoosier Salon Show,
the Indiana State Fair,
the Wabash Valley
Regional Show, AIA
shows and Central
Indiana Artists Club
show.
