Since childhood, Freddie has been fascinated by photography. That fascination,
however, did not develop into a compelling pursuit until the last few years. He now
sees the world with a completely different perspective. The essential act is seeing;
seeing and reacting with excitement to whatever crosses his path. He believes
virtually nothing is mundane to the inquisitive eye. Beauty is present in the moods and
colors of landscapes, the gracefulness of dancers, and in the lines, shapes and
patterns of otherwise unremarkable objects. Although Freddie shoots most subjects,
those of greatest interest to him are landscapes and the world of dance. He has
been fortunate to travel widely, as well as having the opportunity to shoot dance
locally.

Freddie has lived in Zionsville for most of the last twenty five years. In the last two
years, he has had an exhibition at the Jewish Community Center, and has also
exhibited at local restaurants. His most recent exhibition is at Clowes Hall, March 21 -
June 18, 2011.

Freddie was awarded "Advanced Photographer of the Year" for 2008-2009 at the
Photoventure Camera Club in Indianapolis.
