Cindy Cradler is a native Hoosier and has been actively pursuing painting for the
last year. In April 2009, Cindy started challenging herself to complete an oil painting
every day. Within 50 days, she had 50 paintings of foods. She is continuing her
rigorous painting schedule with a goal in 2010 to complete 300 paintings. A variety
of “themes” is evident in her work, with food and toys being favorites, but any
ordinary object will spark an idea for a painting, so you never know what will show
up next.
Cindy is President of Central Indiana Artists as well as being an active member of
the Hendricks County Arts Council. She has won awards at the Central Indiana
Artists Spring Show as well as a First Place in Drawing at the 2009 IN State Fair.
Cindy is currently represented by CCA Gallery of Fine Art and Gifts in Zionsville.
